The Bolyai Memorial Museum located at the Teleki-Bolyai Library in Tirgu Mures (Marosvásárhely) decided to put Gömböc 1823 on permanent exhibit on the 189th anniversary of the famous Temesvár Letter, where János Bolyai announces the discovery of non-Euclidean geometry:
“I created a new, different world out of nothing” – he wrote to his father Farkas Bolyai.
The exhibit was generously supported by Mr Otto Albrecht, investor and Mr Sándor Csegzi, vice-mayor of Marosvásárhely.
